  • CHI at Crumlin, Children’s Health Ireland have installed a Changing Places. It is located on the ground floor of the hospital. Please ask for directions to the facility at main reception. There are signposts to the facility on the ground floor. The bathroom can be accessed by use of a swipe card, available from the main reception desk (01 4096316). Step-Down facilities in the Republic of Ireland

  2. MacDonagh Junction Shopping Centre, Kilkenny, has a facility with all of the features associated with a Changing Place but does not include a hoist.
  3. Dundalk Sports Centre, Tom Bellew Avenue, Muirhevanamor, Dundalk, Co. Louth. A91X36T. This facility has all the features of a Changing Places, the only difference being that it is not meet the required size of a Changing Places which is 12m, instead it is 10.5m.

  6. Narin and Portnoo Public Toilet, Donegal. This Step-Down is part of a suite of toilets on the Blue Flag beach front at the Beach Carpark, Narin, Portnoo, Co. Donegal F94 HDX3. The facility has all the features of a Changing Places such as hoist, privacy screen and changing bench. A beach wheelchair is available and can be used safely with Hoist system. The facility is fully equipped with Braille Identification signage, Defibrillator and contact information in emergencies. Opening hours are all year round, Monday – Sunday, including bank holidays, 9.00am – 9.00pm.
